‘Girl Constantly F***ing Interrupted’ is Celia Peachey’s dramatic attempt to deal with her mother’s murder in 2008 as translated through the multiple personality disorder of Faith and her many alter egos. It is a brave and commendable effort that is in the main highly successful and the subject matter is granted an emotional sway that details the fracturing of a fragile psyche. Peachey turns in a strong performance as she drags different personalities out of Faith- whose corporeal status resembles a housing estate for the dispossessed- with a commendable fluidity. Faith –clearly a vehicle for Peachey’s emotions- has recently lost her mother to a brutal murder and has a unique way of dealing with the aftermath of this traumatic event.
